Judges and Magistrates
The Judges of the Domestic Relations Court are elected officials, and handle cases relating to divorce, dissolution of marriage, legal separation, annulment, domestic violence and interstate parenting and support. The Administrative Judge is responsible for administration of the Domestic Relations Court and its departments, and has full charge of the employment, assignment, and supervision of court employees.
Magistrates are attorneys appointed by the Administrative Judge to whom cases are referred for disposition. Magistrates' decisions are subject to review by the judge assigned to the case.
